Extra Curricular Activities

Education at Ashby School does not stop at 3.05pm.

After school, students can take part in an array of educational, sporting and other activities, from cheerleading and kickboxing to coursework catch-up sessions.

Art students can indulge their creative leanings at Art Club.

Most clubs and extra lessons are held after school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, when late buses are available free of charge at 4.30pm to take students home.

Some extra curricular events take place at weekends or during school holidays. Students are also encouraged to take part in trips and visits throughout the year.

A list of regular after school clubs and activities can be found below. (Details may be subject to change. Students are advised to check with the relevant member of staff or, where appropriate, the Faculty Office before staying after school for a new club or activity.)

Other specific study support and revision classes are listed in the ‘Subject Information’ section. This is updated termly.

After-school House activities are advertised in House assemblies, tutor bulletins and the student bulletin.
