200+ Club

Parents and supporters of Ashby School have the chance to win cash in a monthly prize draw and to raise valuable funds for the school – by signing up for the 200+ Club.

Anyone interested in joining the popular club must pay £10 for a number, which will be entered into 10 monthly prize draws for a chance of a cash prize.

Half of the money collected is paid out in prize money – but the other half is used to buy additional resources for students.

In 2007-08, the money raised by the 200+ Club paid for PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health and Enterprise Education) resources, to raise student awareness of testicular and breast cancer.

Anita Allsop, who oversees the 200+ Club, said: “Anyone who joins the club is helping us to provide the little extras that will benefit our students. In the past, the money has helped to purchase outside tables, and lockers needed in the Art and Design Faculty.

“The more people who sign up, the more money we will raise for the school – and the bigger the cash prizes!”
