Information for Parents

At Ashby School, staff understand the importance of keeping parents fully informed of their children's progress, commitments and deadlines.

Parents receive regular updates from the school by email. These emails contain links to letters and information sheets, and enable staff to make direct contact with parents about homework and other issues.

The school keeps an up-to-date list of parental email addresses. Parents should inform the school of any changes to their email address by downloading and completing the Parent Contact Form.

A termly newsletter, The Ashbeian, keeps parents up-to-date with the latest achievements and developments around the school.

From November 2008, parents of Year 10 students will be able to access ‘My Child at School’. They will be able to view online a range of information including current attendance, grades awards in subjects, and reward and discipline points.

The school website also features all the latest course dates and deadlines in its 'Subject Information' section.
