School is about more than just academic achievement. Students are encouraged to enjoy their time at Ashby School and to develop as many talents and positive attributes as possible.

It is important that students feel good about themselves, what they do and where they are going. At Ashby School, staff strive to help students fulfil their full potential and to feel justly proud of their achievements.

An extensive network of school services helps students to get the most out of their studies, including an active intranet, online subject information, and an ultra modern Sixth Form Centre.

Students are given a wide range of opportunities to stretch and express themselves outside the classroom - through sports, the arts, trips, visits, and a whole range of charity and House events. Many of these are offered through the Extended Schools programme.
