Make a Positive Contribution

There are plenty of opportunities for students to make a positive contribution to the running, and daily life, of Ashby School and the wider community.

By taking part in the many activities on offer, students can play a valuable and active part in the school community and even help with school decision-making.

Every year, students are given the chance to be involved in an overseas environmental or development project.

Students from Ashby School are also involved in the North West Leicestershire Youth Council.

The House system – which places students in one of six Houses – ensures that all students develop a sense of belonging from the outset.

They are also encouraged to become involved in charity fundraising, the School Council and a variety of other initiatives.
