Achieve Economic Wellbeing

All students at Ashby School learn the importance of economic well-being as part of their studies in PSHEE (Personal, Social, Health and Enterprise Education).
These sessions motivate students by helping them to see the relevance of what they learn in school to their future lives. By exploring the world of work and the role of business in national prosperity, students can become questioning and informed consumers who manage their money and finances effectively.
With the help of PSHEE and the school's programme of careers guidance, students are made aware of changing career opportunities. They develop the knowledge and skills needed to make careful decisions about their learning and careers options.
Throughout their time at Ashby School, all pupils are encouraged to be enterprising and to aim high.
