Year 9 Parents - Options and Induction

Induction Information

Induction for new students takes place during three days in July. For students joining Ashby School in August 2017, induction will run from Wednesday 5 July to Friday 7 July.

It is important that students bring the booklet to all three induction days, along with parental/carers' signatures on the Home School Agreement.

At Ashby School, it is important that prospective students and their parents feel happy and well-informed about the choices they are making.

All Year 9 students and parents are invited to an open evening in September (a year before they are due to start in Year 10) where they will be given an introduction to the standards and opportunities they can expect at Ashby.

Any questions about open evening should be directed to Andy Binns, head of KS4 (Years 10 and 11) on
