Globe Trip Creates Much Ado
06 Oct 2017
Drama students experienced Shakespeare's classic comedy, 'Much Ado About Nothing', with a modern twist when they visited London's Globe Theatre.
Thirty drama students from all year groups watched a new interpretation of the famous play, which included references to Donald Trump and armed struggles in Mexico.
After the performance, students visited the Globe exhibition and were given a tour of the entire theatre space.
Head of drama John Bennion said: "The whole trip was great fun, from the rip roaring comedy performance to the fascinating tour. I think all the students found it very informative and extremely useful."
