Year 10 Music Technology
Students will study the principles of music sequencing techniques, data input, editing system set up and the methods of producing music tracks.
First Assignment – Unit 7 - Producing a Sequenced Music Track – Learning Aim A: Explore music sequencing techniques– Deadline 14 November 2017
Students will then develop skills in music sequencing software to create music.
Year 11 Music Technology
Students will be conducting a live recording of band or ensemble providing evidence of the quality of capture and final mixing, editing and mastering in the form of a CD.
This is the part of Unit 6 – Introducing Music Recording - Learning Aim B Using Recording Equipment Safely to Produce Multi-Track Recordings– Deadline 7 November 2017
Alongside this, students will be preparing for the Unit 1 January 2018 exam on ‘The Music Industry’. They will be analysing all aspects of job roles, careers, unions, agencies, managements roles and methods as well as the venues used in the music business.
