The School Council meets regularly to discuss issues which are important to students.
Made up of represenatives from all year groups, the School Council aims to improve students' experience.
Recent initiatives triggered by School Council motions have included improvements to pedestrian safety at the front of the school, with the introduction of a new pedestrian access, crossing point and road bumps to slow down traffic. The School Council was also instrumental in the creation of a new hard play area for use at break and lunch times.
School Councillors also plan and organise charity events, including an annual all-night Gameathon.
Council members also oversee the final non-uniform day of the year during summer term. Students help to decide which charities benefit from the money raised and to organise additional fun activities at break and lunch times.
