It is important that students bring the booklet to all three induction days, along with parental/carers' signatures on the Home School Agreement.

There will be an induction meeting for parents on the evening of Wednesday 5 July. This will be at 5.45pm for students with surnames beginning A - L and at 6.30pm for students with surnames beginning M - Z, and will take place in students' tutor rooms. At Ashby School, it is important that prospective students and their parents feel happy and well-informed about the choices they are making.
All Year 9 students and parents are invited to an open evening in September (a year before they are due to start in Year 10) where they will be given an introduction to the standards and opportunities they can expect at Ashby.
Any questions about open evening should be directed to Jevon Hirst, deputy headteacher, at email@example.com

Following our open evening, one parent said: 'We attended your open evening and would like to pass on our thanks to the articulate, helpful and knowledgeable students who gave up their time to discuss your lovely school! They were an absolute credit.
"My son and I will be trying our best to get him a place at Ashby School in the next academic year."
