15 Nov 2019
A luncthime of fundraising activities to make Pudsey proud will help to boost this year's Children in Need total.
Students paid for the privilege of hurling sponges at some of their favourite teachers in the stocks, while others donated 50p in the hope of winning a hidden fiver inside one of the lucky balloons.
Other popular attractions included the cake stall and the basketball shoot-out where students competed to score the most points.
Many staff and students also paid £1 to come to school in their everyday clothes, leaving smart workwear and school uniforms at home.
House Manager Ewan Myles, who helped to organise the event, siad: "Children in Need always gets a great response and we were lucky enough to get a break in the rain to stage all of our activities outside.Hopefully, we will have raised a significant amount for Children in Need."
