Children in Need Total Tops £2,400 - SEE OUR PHOTO GALLERY HERE! (And It's Not too Late to Buy the BBC Children in Need Cookbook)

Since being named one of the country's top fundraising schools for Children in Need, Ashby School pledged to make this year's event bigger than ever.
At the latest count, the total raised was a record £2,400 with more donations still to be added.
Headteacher Eddie Green agreed to pose for a selfie with Pudsey if staff and students sponsored him £50. His selfie (pictured above) was one of many taken over the extended hour-long lunch break.
Preparations began on Thursday evening when students used the school's kitchens to bake scores of cakes to go on sale the following day. All the cakes were made from recipes which appear in the BBC Radio Leicester Food Friday cook book, copies of which can be purhcased in aid of Children in Need, priced £7.50. In 2016, the school raised an impressive £1,641.87 for the charity, for which it was awarded 'Loyal Supporter' status. Many of the most successful money-spinning ideas from last year were repeated on Friday to smash the 2016 total.
These included the chance to 'Soak the Teacher' in the stocks and have a go on one of the many games and side stalls.
The day was also a 'non uniform' day. Staff and students donated £1 to Children in Need for the privilege of coming to school in their own clothes.
