Our Open Evening will take place on Thursday 2nd October, 5:00–7:00pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to tour our school, visit our faculty areas and facilities, and hear from our Headteacher to help you make the best decision for your child.

Headteacher presentations will take place at 5:30pm and 6:15pm. Tickets for these will be issued on arrival at our welcome desks, located in the KS3 canteen area (accessible via the main entrance on Nottingham Road). Please note, tickets are limited to one child and two adults per family.

To help the evening run smoothly:
- Please register upon arrival and collect your information booklet, map, and presentation tickets.
- We encourage families to walk to us where possible, as this is a busy event and parking is limited.
- Parking is available at our car parks on Leicester Road, Range Road, and Nottingham Road, with overflow parking at Ivanhoe School, North Street. Out of courtesy to our neighbours, we kindly ask that visitors do not park on Range Road.

Finally, please note our Induction Day will take place on Thursday 2nd July 2026, when students joining us will spend time at Ashby School in preparation for the new academic year.

We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday 2nd October.

Non-Uniform Day – Friday 19 September.

This Friday (19 September) will be our first non-uniform day in support of Jeans for Genes.

Students may come to school in non-uniform, and we encourage as many as possible to wear jeans to show their support.

kindly ask that donations are made via wisepay to take part.

As students will still be in a school environment, clothing must meet the following
expectations:

• No bodycon clothing
• No offensive slogans on clothing
• No baseball caps
• No clothing that is short or revealing

If these rules are not followed, normal school sanctions for inappropriate uniform will apply.

In extreme cases, we may contact parents/carers to help us resolve any concerns.
Thank you for your support in making this a successful fundraising day.
