General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Following the Data Protection Act 1998, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 came into force on 25 May 2018. It applies to anyone who processes, stores or is the subject of personal data.

In collecting, using, storing and disposing of data, the Academy will comply with the requirements of the GDPR that govern the processing of personal data. Under these requirements, information will be collected and used fairly, stored safely and not be disclosed to any other person where to do so would be in breach of those requirements or would otherwise be unlawful.

As part of LiFE Multi-Academy Trust our data protection information and policies are now centralised on the MAT website here: https://www.lifemultiacademytrust.org.uk/gdpr/
