We have a Sparx Maths Secret Class winner this week! 91Ma1 are our first winners in 16 weeks, and are the first class to be two-time winners! Well done everyone!

We recently celebrated the achievements of our Duke of Edinburgh Award students at a dedicated awards assembly, recognising their commitment, resilience and hard work. The Duke of Edinburgh Award challenges young people to develop skills, volunteer in their community, improve their physical fitness and complete an expedition. While the expedition weekends are a highlight, students also show sustained dedication over several months through their Volunteering, Skills and Physical sections.
This year’s results reflect both the determination of the students and the strength of the programme at Ashby School.
We are proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold level as an inclusive opportunity for all students, helping them to develop confidence, independence and valuable life skills. Congratulations to all students who achieved their Bronze and Silver Awards this year — a fantastic achievement.
