Uniform

We believe that uniform is an important part of our school ethos. We want our students to be smartly dressed for school in order to set a good tone for learning and create a sense of school identity. However, we also want students to be comfortable in what they wear and so we offer some elements of choice within this.

Years 7 – 11 (KS3 and KS4)

Students must wear:

  • Either a branded grey V-necked jumper or a branded grey fitted blazer
  • An Ashby School maroon clip on tie
  • A plain white shirt or blouse (long or short-sleeved), tucked in at all times.
  • Either
  • Plain black tailored trousers
  • A tartan pleated skirt purchased from recognised suppliers.
  • Plain, black and polishable footwear

For students in Year 7 to Year 9 (including Year 10 2025-2026), they are also expected to wear an Ashby branded maroon t-shirt for PE.
This may be worn by Year 11 (2025-2026) students.

We also expect students to wear appropriate outer wear and to have hoods down on site unless it is raining.

Further clarity around our uniform expectations can be found here.

After Flu Session Information for Parents/Carers

If a consent form has been completed and your child missed the vaccine in school, we will text you about a 2nd opportunity, this will be via a Community Clinic.

If you missed completing a Flu consent form but would like your child to receive the vaccine, we can still arrange it. Please contact the School Aged Immunisation on tel. 0300 3000 007. We will then email you information about a catch-up session at our Community Clinics.

**Please be aware that local pharmacies are not offering free flu vaccines to school aged children this year**
