The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme helps students to develop new skills, experiences, opportunities and gain independence.
We are currently offering the following DofE opportunities:
- Bronze Award (open to Year 9): Students will take part in volunteering, skills and physical activities over three months each, before completing a training and qualifying expedition. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence, resilience and teamwork while having fun with friends.
- Silver Award (opening soon to current Year 10 students): Watch this space as we’ll be launching the Silver Award before the end of 2025.
- Gold Award (open to Year 12 & 13): This is the highest level of the DofE and includes longer commitments for volunteering, skills and physical activities, as well as the exciting Gold expeditions in the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Completing Gold is a prestigious achievement that is highly valued by universities and employers.
