The Arts

Through an inclusive approach based on compassion, knowledge and the understanding, the Arts will ensure that students build an appreciation of a wide range of creative works.

This will include the traditional such as Art, Music and Drama, as well as the more contemporary including Photography, Film, Media, Dance and Music Technology. Through exciting, challenging, and diverse experiences, the Arts will become a passion that lasts a lifetime and informs how students view the world in which they live.

  • All students to gain a lifelong appreciation of the Arts
  • All students to have the opportunity to perform and create within the Arts
  • To develop verbal skills to articulate opinions about different art forms
  • To have had the opportunity to develop bespoke skills in discrete subjects and take part in collaboration events

After Flu Session Information for Parents/Carers

If a consent form has been completed and your child missed the vaccine in school, we will text you about a 2nd opportunity, this will be via a Community Clinic.

If you missed completing a Flu consent form but would like your child to receive the vaccine, we can still arrange it. Please contact the School Aged Immunisation on tel. 0300 3000 007. We will then email you information about a catch-up session at our Community Clinics.

**Please be aware that local pharmacies are not offering free flu vaccines to school aged children this year**

Kind Regards School Aged Immunisation Service
